Meet Our Professional Staff

BRIAN J. JESSUP – Brian graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  He is a licensed CPA in Virginia and North Carolina.

Since starting the practice in 1996, Brian has made it a goal in his practice for both he and his staff to remain current with the ever changing tax law and business trends.  Brian continues to manage both offices and specializes in all forms of Federal and State taxation.  He is very active in assisting individuals with tax planning and consulting issues, works very closely with business clients as they start, manage and run their operations and is an integral part of exempt organizations, estates and trust as they carry out their fiduciary duties of the entity.

Brian is married with two children and enjoys church, family, hunting, NASCAR, camping and fishing.   Brian is very active in the community.  He is serving as:

1. Deacon, Moderator, Treasurer & Sunday School Teacher – Middle Cross Missionary Baptist Church.
2. Member – Surrey Bank & Trust Advisory Board of Directors.
3. Member – Patrick Henry Community College Business Program Advisory Committee.
4. Board Member & Treasurer - Jeb Stuart Birthplace Preservation Trust, Inc.
5. Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.

SUE HEATH – Sue graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  She is a licensed CPA in Virginia and North Carolina.  Sue began her career as a Staff Auditor with Arthur Anderson and was a the Marketing and Advertising Accounting Manager with Lowes Company, Inc., before joining Brian J. Jessup, CPA, PLC.

Sue specializes in individual and small business planning and taxation along with assisting exempt organizations with the IRS tax exemption application process and providing consulting services to executors and trustees in carrying out their fiduciary and tax responsibilities for Estates and Trusts.

Sue is married with two children and enjoys running, camping and concerts.

JASON SIZEMORE – Jason graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  He is a licensed CPA in Virginia and North Carolina.  Jason has extensive experience with tax planning and financial statement analysis.  Jason served as a Financial Business Analyst for Remington Arms and Amarr Garage Doors, Inc., before joining Brian J. Jessup, CPA, PLC.

Jason specializes in business and exempt organization taxation and consulting services.  Jason daily assists business clients with tax return preparation for Partnerships, LLC’s, Corporations, and Exempt organizations.

Jason is married with two children and is very active in the community.

BRENDA HILL - Brenda graduated from High Point College with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration.  She opened her own accounting practice, B. Hill & Associates, LLC in 1995 and continued business until December 2008 when joining the team of Brian J. Jessup, CPA, PLC.

Brenda is active in her church, Hill’s Grove Baptist and Horsepasture Ruritan Club.  She enjoys Sudoku puzzles, reading, cooking and grandkids.
